Smoke detector VDK-10

The device is intended for shutting down the air handling equipment in the event of combustion emissions.

The device is not a component or part of an electrical fire alarm system. For fire protection purposes, its use must always be consulted with the responsible person of the HZS.

If it is necessary to use it on a pipe with a circular cross-section, it is necessary to prepare a flat abutment surface on this pipe (or use a blinded T-piece) with holes according to the attached drilling plan - the smoke detector is normally designed for installation on a pipe with a square cross-section.

As standard, the device is supplied with sampling pipes 300 mm long, a detector with shorter sampling pipes (minimum 150 mm) can also be supplied on request.
