Smoke detector VDK-10 + source Elko EP 12V DC /15 W

The VDK-10 smoke detector is intended for the automatic shutdown of air-conditioning equipment when combustion fumes are sucked in. The device consists of a high-coverage plastic box that is installed outside the air duct. Two sampling pipes extend into the pipeline, with the help of which a sample of air is brought to the smoke detector located inside the plastic box during operation of the air handling unit. A relay contact is available as an output, which is closed only if the supply voltage is applied and the presence of smoke is not detected. The detector regularly performs an internal self-test.
Combustion emissions are detected by photoelectric detection of light scattered by smoke particles.

The device is not a component or part of an electrical fire alarm system.

If it is necessary to use it on a pipe with a circular cross-section, it is necessary to prepare a flat abutment surface on this pipe (or use a blinded T-piece) with holes according to the attached drilling plan - the smoke detector is intended for installation on a pipe with a square cross-section as standard.
