In addition to the normal functions, it is equipped with various modes and special functions:

Fire suppression mode
The fire suppression mode prevents the VLT® HVAC Basic Drive from stopping for self-protection reasons. In this mode, the vital ventilator will continue to operate regardless of control signals, warnings or alarms.
Fire suppression mode helps keep escape routes smoke-free and ensure safety in stairwells and parking lots by running exhaust fans, smoke extraction and the ability to perform basic service functions.
The fire suppression mode is clearly marked on the display to avoid confusion.
When set, the inverter will override its own protection functions and continue to run despite the possibility of permanent damage in the event of overheating or overload. The vital goal is to keep the engine running, even if it means self-destruction.

Skipping frequencies
By pressing a few buttons on the control panel, the inverter can be set to exclude the frequency bands in which the connected fans create resonances of the ventilation system. It reduces
vibrations, sounds and equipment wear.

V-belt monitoring
The drive can detect from the rotation speed/current draw that the motor has lost contact with the fan and activate an alarm if the belt is broken.

Flying start
The inverter can detect the speed and direction of a freely rotating fan or pump and "catch" it to the correct speed. This feature prevents the device from being forcibly started and destroyed.

Sleep mode
When sleep mode is enabled, the inverter automatically detects zero or low flow and stops the motor. The inverter constantly monitors the situation to restart the motor should the load demand increase. This ensures continuous power supply, maximum energy saving, noise reduction and extension of the life of the entire device.
