Relays with mechanically forced contacts according to DIN EN 61810-3 are used where people, machines and valuable goods must be protected from injury and damage . One such relay contains at least one set of NC contacts and one set of NO contacts and is designed so that the NC set and the NO set cannot be closed at the same time.
